Learn how to access and utilise LLN resources and assessment tools to assist with the design, development and implementation of training programs specific to Learners needs.
Over 60% of non-working Australians and 40% of our working population have low level Language, Literacy and Numeracy Skills.
This unit describes the skills and knowledge a vocational trainer or assessor requires to identify language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) skill requirements of training and the work environment, and to use resources and strategies that meet the needs of the learner group.
The unit applies to individuals who teach, train, assess and develop resources.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
There are no entry requirements for this course.

Learners are given up to 3 months to complete the unit.

Our 1-day workshop includes the following elements:
- Pre face to face reading, learning and knowledge based assessment questions
- 1 day of intensive face to face learning and practical assessment activities
- Post face to face research, further learning and assessment work
Delivery provides accelerated learning by breaking the course into several separate elements. The most difficult elements are facilitated by a specialist HBA Trainer. Assessments will be completed both in class and at home.
Cost: $200
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is available for this Qualification.
