SPECIAL NOTE

This qualification is suited to those possessing a high level of underpinning knowledge, most likely gleaned from working in an RTO or an enterprise that auspices with an RTO. The learning outcomes of the qualification dictate the Learner must be comfortable and able to undertake significant individual research via the internet, consultation with industry practitioners and attend Professional Development activities.

The Learner Guide will provide you with a basic understanding of the Performance Evidence but it will NOT, in itself, be comprehensive enough for a Self-Paced Learner to complete the Knowledge Questions or the Performance Evidence activities.

Those that wish to undertake the Diploma but are not competent in research should only enrol in the 5 day Intensive Delivery where you will receive underpinning knowledge and guidance from one of HBA’s professional and dedicated Trainers and Assessors.

The virtual classroom is an alternative way of attending the Intensive delivery of the TAE50216 Diploma of Training Design and Development. To find out more regarding the Intensive delivery of the TAE50216 Diploma of Training Design and Development, click the tabs above.

Each Virtual Classroom has a host location in which your trainer will be facilitating from and will co-exist with a face-to-face classroom.

Watch an interview with a senior trainer regarding how the Virtual Classroom works.

Overview:

The virtual classroom delivery is the same as being in a face-to-face classroom, but from the comfort of your own home or office. The trainers can see all learners, learners can see each other and the trainer.

The trainer’s desktop is visible to all learners, as it would be in a face-to-face classroom on a projector screen.

The trainer of the virtual classroom provides all enrolled learners with a link to join the meeting. This link provides a meeting code for the learners of the course they are enrolled in.

HBA advises learners they must be visible to the trainer through the course of days, as they would be in a classroom setting.

Features:

During the face-to-face virtual learning days, learners are introduced to components of each unit and provided the opportunity for skill development and practice through group learning activities under the support, guidance and supervision of a TAE Trainer.

Trainers are able to provide learners with assistance using GoToMeeting prior to the course commencement where there is time, however a link to the GoToMeeting website is provided to learners in the Welcome Email sent by their Trainer a week prior to the course commencement, which takes learners to a page that assists in the setup of GoToMeeting and the use of GoToMeeting.

Upon completion of the various face-to-face learning days. Learners are required to continue their learning, in their own time and at their own pace.

Cost: $400 initial assessment and $200 per unit
